This artwork was created during my senior year in college. We were tasked with choosing an artist to emulate, and I chose Georgia O'Keeffe. O'Keeffe is known for her abstract representations of flowers, yet her subjects remain recognizable. My piece features numerous flowers, and I found it intriguing to attempt to replicate her style. It's also one of the first oil paintings I've ever completed.
